Another Day, Another Polly Dress: Kokka Fabric Edition

Hey there, friends! I'm thrilled to share my latest creation with you all – the Polly Dress from Daisy Chain patterns. But this isn't just any Polly Dress – it's my second one, and the first as an official ambassador for Kokka Fabrics! I'm beyond excited for this opportunity to work with such incredible fabrics.

Let me take you back to the beginning. When I first started sewing, I stumbled upon a gem of an Etsy seller who stocked the most beautiful Japanese fabrics. Even though I was still learning the ropes, I knew I had to snag some of these high-quality, vibrant prints. Fast forward to now, and I'm still a loyal customer – in fact, I even have some of my original fabrics in my stash to this day!

So you can imagine my excitement when a friend told me that Kokka was on the hunt for ambassadors. I applied right away, and to my delight, I was accepted. And thus, my journey as a Kokka ambassador began!

For my first Kokka creation, I knew I had to showcase the Polly Dress. With so many variations to choose from, this pattern is truly special. I went with the mini version and opted for elbow-length sleeves and a button-down placket. To add a little something extra, I used some special buttons I picked up on a trip to NYC last year.

The end result? A magical dress that I know I'll be living in all season long. It's light and airy, perfect for warm weather, and looks amazing with my favorite sandals. And let's not forget – it has pockets! That's always a sign of a dress that's going to get a lot of wear in my book.

I hope you've enjoyed this little peek into my latest make. Stay tuned for more Kokka creations to come – I have a feeling this is just the beginning of a beautiful partnership!
